Artist biography
Daniel Córdoba Garcia was born in Madrid in 1985.
Graduated in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, later extending his university studies as a scholarship holder in Athens and São Paulo.
He began his career painting from life in different painting competitions, being awarded around sixty national prizes in the period between 1990 and 2012.
After some time combining studies (Complutense, Sorbonne), competitions and exhibitions, he
focuses on working with different galleries in the United States, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Uruguay.
During his early years as a professional, his themes revolved around urban landscape and the
portrait. Influenced by the Impressionism of the late 19th century, his painting gradually took on a more landscape theme, centred on the representation of nature. This search for different scenes and atmospheres led him to travel to different places, and he has painted in around 50 countries to date.
