Today, my art is my thoughts. Represented with colours, because colours speak and transmit.

This is how I express what I think every day or what happens to me frequently: a food, a colour, numbers, people... and I put it there. It's like a memory album. And, of course, all captured with that incredible technique you ask me so much about.

Well, the technique came about because I've always wanted to make those textured pictures with putty (or whatever is used). One day, while I was trying to add colour, I saw that it didn't come out the way I wanted it to and I started to get frustrated. So I started with the palette knife, dragging all the paint from one end of the canvas to the other. This way I was left with a smooth background that I could let dry to do something on top of it (because I used to paint with drops).

Then, I got into a loop of dragging the paint and realised that I loved the effect I was creating. I decided to start adding more layers of paint and dragging them around, until I realised that I was crazy about painting that way and loved the result.

I continued to paint a lot. Every day I was creating new paintings and discovering how to make details that fascinated me.
And then I also understood that, through painting, I was teaching myself. I realised that, at the moment when I was most frustrated with my art, by letting myself be myself, inspiration came. My new phase came, highlighting the importance of appreciation and enjoying the process.
