By connecting with the energy of the elements, we perform a reconstruction of the soul.
Living in Ibiza we are in constant contact with the sea, the air, the sun, the earth, the trees. You feel its energy that surrounds you and rebuilds your soul.
Carmen wanted to capture that energy with different textures and techniques, to take us into her world.
Techniques: Oil on canvas, Putty and oil on canvas, Acrylic on canvas, Putty and epoxy resin on wood, Epoxy resin on canvas.
Artist biography
Not even the great effort she has made to combine studies, work and sport has kept her from her love of painting. She has made painting her best and clearest means of expression. It is also the most authentic reflection of her own personality.
He began to paint in oils at the age of thirteen and during his adolescence he painted various works reflecting, from his perspective, his love of nature. He held several exhibitions in galleries and centres in Madrid such as the Jardín de Serrano, La Casa de la Cultura de Torrelodones, etc.
At the age of thirty-two, she left the city to devote herself to her passion for the sea, leaving her painting facet for a few years, to take it up again in 2020 with great enthusiasm and painting abstract works, always oriented towards the energy of nature and the elements that she loves so much.
