I am interested in exploring identity and femininity through portraits that go beyond the simple figurative representation of women, mixing abstraction, collage and using different materials as support on the canvas. working with paper or textiles, I integrate it into the composition, this helps me to bring new life to the figure, creating a new way of life.
a dynamic contrast between what is recognisable and what is suggested". Transition time" reflects this period where I navigate between figuration and abstract art.

Artist biography
As a contemporary artist, I have always been driven by a deep exploration of the human experience. In my early works, I adopted the figurative tradition, using recognisable images to explore the human figure and its relationship to space, light and emotion. Through these representations, I attempted to capture not only the physical appearance of my subjects, but also their inner life.
My work is a reflection of a deep connection to the world around me, nurtured by a deep love of travel to remote cultures, nature and the rich traditions of Eastern philosophy.
During my travels, I have encountered many different landscapes, people and cultures, each of which has left an indelible mark on my artistic vision, which has been a constant source of inspiration.
The principles of Taoism and Buddhism guide my approach to both art and life. These traditions emphasise the importance of simplicity, presence and the interconnectedness of all things. In my paintings, I try to embody these ideas by creating works that invite the viewer into a space of contemplation and reflection, where form and colour become vehicles for deeper understanding and inner peace.
