Rules for participation

Thematic:
This year, the theme of the exhibition is Mental Health. We are looking for works that inspire, accompany, calm, liberate or invite reflection on the soul, inner noise, balance or disorder. Any interpretation will be accepted, as long as the artist can justify its relation to this theme and the organisation approves it. Only works created specifically for this edition of the competition will be accepted.

• First prize: €1,500

• Second prize: 800€.

• Third prize: 300€.
  In the event of a tie, the amount shall be divided equally.

Size:
The works may be paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations or art in digital format, with a maximum size of 110 x 110 cm. If the work exceeds these dimensions, it must be communicated to the organisers, who will assess its acceptance depending on the available space and security.

Deadline for registration:
Participation will be confirmed in order of registration via the link we will provide. The first 50 registered artists will be accepted.
Registration will remain open until the maximum quota is reached or, in any case, until 30 August 2025 at 15:00h, when it will close definitively.

Delivery of works:
The work must be delivered to Ocean Drive Talamanca on 26 September 2025 before 14:00h.

Place and dates:
The exhibition and awards ceremony will be held on 1 October 2025 at Ocean Drive Talamanca. Both the vernissage (opening) and the awards ceremony will take place on that day. Collection must be made on 14 October 2025 from 9:00h to 14:00h.

Transport of the works:
The transport of the work will be the responsibility of the artist, who will be responsible for shipping and collection, exempting OD Hotels from any damage or loss during transport.

Responsibility:
OD Hotels cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur during the exhibition.

Election of the winners:
The prizes will be awarded by a Jury that will be communicated in advance to the participants. The Jury's decision will be final and cannot be subject to appeal.

Information about the work:
Artists must provide a file with information about their work (title, technique, size and price, if they wish to offer it for sale), which will be included in a document available via QR code.

Acceptance of the rules:
Participation implies the temporary transfer of the work to be exhibited within the framework of the OD Art Awards 2025, as well as the acceptance of all the conditions set out above. The organisation of the competition does not imply ownership of the work.

Others:
Dates may be subject to change or the event may be postponed for reasons beyond the organisation's control.
