Who we are
The OD Art Award is a prize created by Ocean Drive Hotels to support and highlight emerging artistic talent. It is part of the cultural activations of the brand, which understands art as an essential pillar of its proposal: not only as decoration, but also as an engine of community, meeting and conversation.
The award seeks to recognise young artists and give them a space for exhibition and dissemination within the OD hotels, turning these spaces into living platforms where neighbours, travellers and creators come together. Thus, the award does not remain a simple recognition, but becomes an invitation to coexist with art in the daily life of the neighbourhood and the hotel.
Our Mission
The mission of the OD Art Award is clear and straightforward:
to give voice and space to emerging art, connect artists with the city and transform hotels into living showcases of creativity.
It's not just about awarding a prize, it's about opening doors:
- Doors to young creators who need visibility.
- Doors to guests and neighbours, who discover new perspectives.
- Doors to the neighbourhood, which becomes the stage and accomplice of art.
Deep down, the prize shares the same mission as Ocean Drive Hotels: to make life in the neighbourhood more alive and to show that art is not reserved for distant museums, but that it beats on every corner, in every encounter, in every space where someone dares to create.
