In collaboration with the Tàpies Museum, OD Hotels opens its spaces to art and culture.
Recently, the OD Hotels group has signed an alliance with the intention of continuing to promote art and culture, this time together with the Tàpies Museum in Barcelona.
Thanks to this new alliance, guests of Ocean Drive Barcelona will enjoy free admission to the museum, as well as exclusive guided tours for hotel guests (subject to availability), providing a deeper understanding of the works and the history of the museum. Guests only need to request their tickets at the hotel reception. The museum, located at Calle Aragón, 255, is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Tàpies Museum is known as an icon of Contemporary Art, founded in 1984 by the famous Catalan artist Antoni Tàpies, being one of the most important museums in Barcelona dedicated to contemporary art.
The institution houses a vast collection of works by Tàpies, as well as temporary exhibitions by world-renowned contemporary artists. The museum stands out not only for its impressive collection but also for its commitment to education and the dissemination of modern art.
At OD Hotels, we are characterized by having a strong bond with local culture, which is why we always seek to establish initiatives designed to promote art and culture wherever we go.
With this initiative, we not only highlight the commitment of both entities to culture, but we also establish an inspiring model of how collaborations can benefit the community and the tourism sector.
Finally, we would like to invite all of you to visit the exhibitions we have in each of our hotels in Madrid, Barcelona, and Ibiza on a monthly basis, undoubtedly a very positive initiative for both travelers and locals.
