We are excited to announce the return of the OD Art Awards Contest in collaboration with IbizArt Guide. This year, we are celebrating our seventh edition with a special theme: The Salt of Ibiza.

What makes the OD Art Awards so special?

This event has become a key highlight in Ibiza’s cultural life, emphasizing the connection between art, culture, and sustainability. We remain committed to supporting our talented local artists, and we are eager to see how they interpret this year’s theme.

What is this year’s theme?

The Salt of Ibiza: This essential element is not only part of our daily lives but also has a deep historical and cultural connection to the island. We want to see how salt inspires your art, whether through its economic importance, production process, natural beauty, or any other creative perspective you can imagine.

When and where?

Date: Saturday, September 28, 2024

Time: 7:30 PM

Location: Hotel Ocean Drive Talamanca (calle Jesús, 28)

Why should you participate?

• Visibility: Showcase your work to a diverse and passionate audience.

• Recognition: Be part of a prestigious event on Ibiza’s cultural calendar.

• Networking: Connect with other artists, art professionals, and culture enthusiasts.

Contest Rules:

• Theme: The works must be related to “The Salt of Ibiza,” with any interpretation accepted as long as it is justified by the artist and approved by the organizers.

• Prizes: First prize of €1500, second prize of €800, and third prize of €300. In the event of a tie, the prize will be split.

• Size: Maximum of 110 x 110 cm. Larger works must be approved by the organization depending on the available space.

• Participation Deadline: The deadline to confirm your participation is 3:00 PM on September 15, 2023. The submission of works will be on September 27.

• Selection of Participants: A maximum of 40 physical works and 10 digital works will be accepted, on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Location: Ocean Drive Talamanca.

• Duration: From September 29 to October 13.

• Transportation: The artist is responsible for transport, with OD Hotels exempt from any responsibility for damage or loss.

• Responsibility: OD Hotels is not responsible for damages during the exhibition.

• Selection of Winners: A jury will select the winning works. Their decision will be final.

• Other: Works should preferably be presented without a signature and with an identification number. Additional information can be sent by email.
